Abstract:
In Morocco, most of the cervical cancer patients are according diagnosed at advanced stage indicating delay in seeking identification and treatment. the most purpose of this investigation was to live the delay from the primary symptom to treatment among Moroccan girls with cervical cancer.
Methods: we tend to conducted a cross-sectional study at the National Institute of medical specialty Sidi prophet mountain Abdellah in Rabat, Morocco. A consecutive series of patients with domestically advanced cervical cancer or metastasic [stage II-IV] were recruited. we tend to calculated delay by exploitation 2 events dates of 2 periods in patient’s pathway. variable binary supply multivariate analysis was performed to live the association between all classes of delay and magnitude of total delay.
Results: Four hundred and one patients were reached during this study. The median total delay was 183 days, the median patient delay was a hundred and twenty days, the median identification delay was one hundred ten days, and therefore the median Treatment delay was fifty seven days. quantity analysis showed that patients World Health Organization didn’t have severally patient and identification delay were less probably to own total delay.
